Common questions about pricing

What counts as a conversation?
A conversation is a single end-user session with one of your bots, regardless of how many messages are exchanged. We don't charge per message.
What happens at the conversation limit?
On paid plans, additional conversations are billed at $40 per 5,000-conversation pack. You can also enable per-resolution overage on Business+ at $0.89/resolution. We never silently drop service.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades pro-rate to your renewal date. Downgrades take effect at next renewal — we don't refund mid-cycle, but you keep the higher tier for the rest of the period.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual is 20% off — two months free — paid up front. Available on every paid plan. Recommended for predictable budgeting.
Do you support purchase orders and invoicing?
Yes on Business and Enterprise plans. Net-30 terms by default; net-60 available on annual contracts.
Is there a free trial?
Free tier is permanently free at 100 conversations/month. Paid plans (Starter through Business) come with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.
How does the per-resolution overage work?
Optional add-on on Business+. When your bot fully resolves a customer's question without escalating to a human, we count one resolution. $0.89 per resolution — still cheaper than Intercom Fin's $0.99.
